Product Groups

Product Groups are an optional way to group Items. They will be of particular use if you have a large number of Items and wish to group them in categories. For example, when adding an Item to an Invoice, you can search by Product Group to help locate your Item.

  1. Product Group Fields:
    1. Name (required)
    2. Unit: This is the default unit of measure that will be used when an Item is created with this Product Group. Example “EACH”.
    3. Active: If the Product Group is active, it will appear in the Product Group list when adding/updating an Item.
